User-Generated Content Policy

Atmadhruti provides a platform that enables users, including life coaches and clients, to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, post testimonials, and contribute educational and professional content. This User-Generated Content Policy (“Policy”) governs all forms of content uploaded, shared, or posted by users (“Content”) on the Atmadhruti website (“Platform”).

By submitting content to Atmadhruti, you (“User”) acknowledge and agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Service, Intellectual Property Agreement and all other applicable agreement and policies.

Atmadhruti is committed to ensuring that Content remains respectful, legally compliant, and aligned with the values of Atmadhruti.

  1. SCOPE & APPLICABILITY
  2. This Policy applies to all content created, submitted, or shared on the Platform, including but not limited to:
  3. Text-based content: Testimonials, success stories, blog posts, reviews, and comments.
  4. Multimedia content: Images, videos, audio files, and presentations.
  • Coach-contributed content: Tips, educational resources, and articles shared by coaches.
  1. Interactive content: Feedback, discussion forum posts, and engagement in community features.
  2. All content must align with Atmadhruti’s core mission of fostering personal resilience and professional growth.
  3. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including:
  4. Registered members posting content related to their coaching experiences.
  5. Life coaches sharing professional insights and resources.
  • Any third-party contributing content within the Platform’s interactive features.
  1. The policy shall be governed by the following policies:
  2. Information Technology Act, 2000, and its associated rules.
  3. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • Any copyright-related disputes will be handled under the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), if applicable.
  1. Any defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content will be subject to relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

 

  1. CONTENT GUIDELINES & RESTRICTIONS

Users must adhere to the following rules when submitting any form of content on the platform:

  1. Prohibited Content: Users are strictly prohibited from posting content that includes:
  2. Hate Speech & Discrimination: Content that promotes racism, sexism, casteism, or any form of discrimination.
  3. Defamatory or False Information: False claims, misleading content, or defamatory statements that could harm individuals or entities.
  • Obscene, Pornographic, or Inappropriate Material: Any sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content. Inappropriate content includes but is not limited to violent, graphic, sexually explicit, politically inflammatory, or abusive material that disrupts a positive user experience.
  1. Harassment & Bullying: Any form of threatening, stalking, or intimidation of other users.
  2. Plagiarized or Copyrighted Material: Users must only share content they own or have permission to use.
  3. Advertisements & Spam: Unsolicited promotions, self-advertisements, multi-level marketing, or irrelevant spam.
  • Misinformation & Misleading Content: Unverified claims, deceptive testimonials, or fake/ exaggerated success stories.

 

  1. Quality Standards for Testimonials & Success Stories:
  2. Testimonials and success stories must reflect genuine experiences and should not include exaggerated or misleading claims. Users must avoid offensive, disrespectful, or overly promotional language.
  3. Users submitting testimonials may provide supporting evidence of their claims, if necessary.
  • Users submitting content agree that their content, including testimonials, may be used in the favour of Atmadhruti.
  1. Users must disclose if any content (text, images, videos) is AI-generated. Atmadhruti reserves the right to reject AI-generated content that is misleading, inaccurate, or does not align with the platform’s purpose.

 

  1. MODERATION & CONTENT APPROVAL PROCESS

Atmadhruti follows a structured content approval and moderation process to ensure compliance with its platform guidelines while maintaining a balance between user engagement and quality control.

  1. Content of Users excluding Coaches
  2. All user-submitted content, including blog posts, forum discussions will be pre-approved before being published.
  3. Atmadhruti aims to review submitted content within 3 business days, subject to operational feasibility.
  • If additional clarification is required, the review process may take longer, and users will be notified accordingly.
  1. Atmadhruti reserves the right to approve, reject, or request modifications before allowing the content to go live.
  2. Testimonials and feedback submitted by users will be posted directly without pre-approval but may still be subject to moderation post-publication.
  3. Coach-Generated Content
  4. Content submitted by coaches, such as blog articles, coaching insights, and other resources, does not require pre-approval before being published.
  5. However, Atmadhruti reserves the right to review, modify, or remove any content at a later stage if found to be in violation of policies or misaligned with platform standards.

 

  1. PRIVACY TERMS FOR CONTENT
  2. Atmadhruti does not collect sensitive personal data through content unless explicitly provided by the user.
  3. Atmadhruti ensures compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  4. Any data retention and processing of content will be done in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  5. Users should avoid sharing personally identifiable or sensitive information in their testimonials or reviews.
  6. Users and coaches must ensure that any content they post complies with copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

 

  1. CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATING CONTENT POLICIES

Atmadhruti follows a structured approach to handling content violations, ensuring fairness and transparency. The process includes the following steps:

  1. First Violation – Warning & Correction Request
  2. The user receives a formal warning along with details of the violation.
  3. They are given an opportunity to edit or remove the content to comply with the guidelines.
  4. Second Violation – Content Removal & Temporary Restrictions
  5. The non-compliant content is removed by Atmadhruti.
  6. The user may face temporary restrictions on posting new content or interacting on the platform.
  7. Third Violation – Suspension of Posting Privileges

The user’s ability to post new content is suspended for a specific duration (e.g., 7–30 days, depending on severity).

A final warning is issued, informing them of possible permanent actions if violations continue.

  1. Fourth Violation – Permanent Ban & Account Termination
  2. The user’s account is permanently banned from posting content on Atmadhruti.
  3. Depending on the severity of the violation, the entire account may be terminated, and access to Atmadhruti’s services may be revoked.
  4. Legal Action for Severe Violations
  5. If a user post copyrighted, defamatory, or legally objectionable content, Atmadhruti reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings as per applicable Indian laws.
  6. Atmadhruti will not be held legally liable for content but will cooperate with authorities if legal actions are taken against a violating user.
  7. Right to Appeal
  8. Users who believe their content was wrongly removed or their account was unfairly restricted can file an appeal via Atmadhruti’s Grievance Redressal Mechanism Policy.
  9. Atmadhruti will review appeals fairly, and decisions will be made at its discretion, considering the platform’s policies and user concerns.

 

  1. OWNERSHIP & LICENSING OF CONTENT

 

  1. User Ownership of Content
  2. Users retain ownership rights over the content they create and post on Atmadhruti’s platform, including testimonials, success stories, blog articles, tips, and resources.
  3. However, by submitting content, users grant Atmadhruti a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, display, distribute, and promote the content on its website, marketing materials, and other platforms.
  4. License to Modify and Distribute
  5. Atmadhruti reserves the right to modify, adapt, translate, or distribute content for the purposes of platform improvement, marketing, and promotional activities.
  6. Users acknowledge that once posted, their content may be shared across different media, including social platforms, advertisements, and newsletters.
  7. Restrictions on Third-Party Use
  8. Users cannot sell, license, or distribute any content originally created on Atmadhruti’s platform without obtaining explicit permission.
  9. Any unauthorized use of another user’s content is strictly prohibited and may lead to content removal, account suspension, or legal action.
  10. Content Removal and Revocation of Rights
  11. Users may request the removal of their own content by contacting Atmadhruti’s support team. However, Atmadhruti may retain copies of such content for legal, compliance, and record-keeping purposes.
  12. If the content has already been used in marketing materials or third-party platforms, Atmadhruti cannot guarantee complete removal from all locations.
  • Atmadhruti may revoke a user’s content rights if violations occur or if the content is deemed misleading, inappropriate, or in violation of platform policies.
  1. Third-Party Copyright Claims
  2. If a third party claims that any content on Atmadhruti violates their intellectual property rights, they must submit a formal takedown request along with supporting documentation.
  3. Atmadhruti will review such requests and may:
  • Temporarily remove the content while investigating the claim.
  • Notify the original content creator and allow them to provide a counterclaim if they believe the content does not infringe any rights.
  • Take appropriate action, including permanent removal, if infringement is confirmed.
  • If multiple parties claim ownership of the same content, Atmadhruti may:
  • Suspend access to the disputed content until ownership is verified.
  • Require both parties to provide proof of ownership (such as original creation files, timestamps, or agreements).
  • Resolve the dispute based on Atmadhruti’s internal policies or refer the matter to legal authorities if necessary.

 

  1. LIABILITIES AND DISCLAIMERS
  2. Atmadhruti does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of content. Users and coaches are solely responsible for the content they post, including defamation claims.
  3. Testimonials, feedback, and content submitted by users do not represent Atmadhruti’s views or endorsements.
  4. Users may share external links in their content, provided they do not lead to harmful, misleading, or promotional websites. Atmadhruti is not responsible for the content, security, or accuracy of external links posted by users.
  5. Under no circumstances shall Atmadhruti be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of content usage, disputes, or reliance on the information provided on the platform.
  6. Users and coaches agree to indemnify and hold Atmadhruti, its affiliates, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising due to:
  7. Any violation of this policy.
  8. Any legal claims due to copyright infringement, defamation, or unlawful content submission.
  • Any consequences resulting from reliance on content.
  1. Atmadhruti does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and shall not be liable for any loss, damages, or inconvenience caused due to technical failures, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances.

 

  1. MISCELLANEOUS TERMS
  2. Atmadhruti reserves the right to update, modify, or amend this User-Generated Content Policy at its sole discretion. Users are encouraged to periodically review this policy to stay informed of any updates.
  3. Continued use of the platform after any amendments to this policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  4. In case of any dispute regarding content, users are encouraged to first reach out to Atmadhruti for resolution.
  5. This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
  6. If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
